Rena passed away peacefully at home after her battle with cancer. Rena was an
optimistic, strong and fiercely independent woman. All who knew Rena will surely miss her generous, hard working and fun loving spirit. Rena was up for any adventure. Whether rock jumping, cruising on the back of Tom's motorcycle or braving a mosh pit just to say she had done it, she did not let any grass grow under her feet! Rena was not only a brilliant business woman she was a trusted friend, and amazing mother. There was never a sporting or school event that she missed out on for her two children. Rena is survived by her husband Tom, daughter Morgan, son Ben, mother Marion, sister Elizabeth Waterman-Hukari (married to Eric Hukari), son in law Shane and a large extended family. Rena was welcomed to heaven by her father Ernest and grandmother Margaret. With friends stretching from all corners of the globe Rena's memory will not soon be forgotten. A memorial service will be held January 4th, 2014 at 2pm in the afternoon at Christ United Methodist Church in Portland Oregon.
