A funeral for Anne Dupuy will be on Thursday April 30th at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church who died at the age of 85. Anne was born February 9, 1930 in Salt Lake City UT. She graduated from Ursuline Academy in Great Falls, Montana in June of 1948. She was captain of the basket ball team and in her senior year was president of the student body.
Anne moved to Portland to attend Marylhurst College in the Fall of 1948 which she attended for two years. She married Howard Moore Dupuy Jr. on August 26, 1950 at All Saints Catholic Church in Portland Oregon. She worked at Jantzen Woolen Mills as a Translator until 1955. Anne was a homemaker and raised two Children. She was an avid gardener, loved beautiful flowers and enjoyed time alone in her gardens with her dogs.
Anne was a beautiful spirit which reflected in her art and her life. Her kind and generous heart will be deeply missed by everyone she touched. Anne was preceeded by her son Brent Thomas Moore Dupuy in 1996 and her Husband Howard Moore Dupuy Jr. in 2000. Survivors include her daughter Loanne Dupuy and good friend/son John Schmidt; one grandchild, Ashley Marie Dupuy; and two honorary grandchildren Alana and Alex Hassett.
Donations may be directed in Anne's memory, to St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, or to the World Wildlife Fund.
