Obituary of Barry Francis Lovatt
A celebration of life gathering will be held, 2pm, Saturday, November 2nd at Rose City Funeral home. Barry passed away in Vancouver, Washington September 12th, he was 57 years old.
Barry was born in North Vancouver, B.C., June 21, 1956 the son of James K. and Margaret E. (Lee) Lovatt. He was one of 2 Children. The Family Moved from British Columbia to Portland when he was sixteen years old.
He married Belinda L. Thomas on February 3, 1991 at True Life Fellowship Church. She preceded him in death on December 11, 1998. Barry worked for Radio Cab for over 20 years first as a driver and later as a dispatcher until early 2000, he then was a care giver for 10 years, working for Rainbow Adult Foster Care until 2010.
His hobbies and interests were sci-fi and history.
Barry is survived by his children: Denise McCain, Craig Macdonald and Christina Macdonald, Grandchildren: Tanea King, Christopher King, Siera Sheaffer, Trenton Rekdahl, Mary Macdonald, Brenda Macdonald and Savana Benjamin, Sister; Linda Cox. Preceded in death by grandson Joseph King.
