Bill C. Lauber Obituary
A memorial service will be held, 2:30 p.m., Thursday, December 3 rd at Rose City Funeral Home and Cemetery. Bill passed away in Portland, he was 87.
Bill Carl Lauber was born September 22, 1928 in Kelso, Washington to Paul H. and Eva Gertrude (Lesey) Lauber, one of four children. Bill was always mechanically inclined and from an early age was often taking things apart and them putting back together. He married Betty Andreen Hauser in Vancouver, Washington August 3, 1963 and enjoyed live together until her death in February 2000. He was the Supervisor for NW Organic Product in Donald, Oregon for over 25 years and then a member of Local 290 as a Steamfitter, working for Moran Oil (A-1 Oil) in the early 1970’s in furnace repair, retiring in 1998. Bill enjoyed the outdoors and fishing, watching the Western Channel and was very talented in designing and making Stain glass art.
Bill is survived by his children; Lynn Klein, Steve Aronson, Bob Lauber, 4 grandchildren; Cindy, Karin, Diana, Ben, Lisa 9 great grandchildren: Jessi, Adam, Dan, Ally, Natasha, Nathaniel, Sidnie, Rylee, Bradyon, 4 great great grandchildren; Willie, Opal, Savannah, River & Sawyer, sisters; Shirley & Jean. Pre-deceased by his wife of 36 years, and his sister Betty.
Private inurnment Rose City Cemetery.
