Bob Eugene Chaples

Bob Eugene Chaples was born to A.J. and Hannah Chaples in Portland. He graduated from Benson then P.S.U. before moving on to a career in CARE. Traveling from Thailand to Bangladesh he met then married his wife Soon, in Seol South Korea. In the 5 years after his daughter Kim's birth in Indonesia he traveled Sudan & Sri Lanka before returning to Portland. Ten successful years with the Community Energy Project followed. After retiring he took special pleasure sleeping in on Mondays. R.I.P. to the whitest Asian man we know. Bob is survived by his wife Soon and daughter Kim. There will be no services.
