Bruce J. Allin

April 24, 1922 – June 19, 2024

 Bruce was born in Sintaluta, Saskatchewan, Canada on April 24, 1922, to Everett and Isabel Allin. Bruce was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Aubrey (Alice), Murray and Claude. He married Cathy Bulloch on June 4, 1943, in Regina Saskatchewan while on leave from the Canadian Navy. They were married for 50 years and 6 weeks when on July 21, 1993, she suddenly died of a heart attack.

 In June of 1949, Bruce and Cathy moved to Portland, Oregon with their first daughter Patricia, with two more girls to follow; Cindy (Parker) and Toby (Courtney). Later in life Bruce would go on to have 4 sons-in-law; 5 grandchildren, Denise, Ryan, Blake, Kiley and Kip; 4 great-grandchildren, Conor, Ainsley, Ruby and Gwendlyn; 2 more daughters adopted with love, Kim Sullivan and Barb Kreitzer and many children who called him Grandpa Boon.

 Bruce always attended church, enjoyed playing golf, bowling, the Antler & Fin Camping Club and traveling around the world.

 Just after his 102nd birthday his health was rapidly changing. He died on June 19, 2024, from heart and kidney failure. He will be missed by so many. Bruce will be laid to rest at Rose City Cemetery next to his wife, Cathy Allin.
