-He was born in Portland, OR, October 30, 1921 to parents, Leona and Albert Pelton.
-Raised in N.E. Portland, went to Rose City Park Elementary School, and graduated from Grant High school located in the Hollywood district of Portland.
-Enlisted in the U.S Navy, became rate of RM1, radioman 1st class. Completed tour in the Phillipines, during World War II. He received a Victory Medal and two Bronze Stars.
-After honorable discharge from the service, he completed a bachelor's business degree at San Jose State.
-Bruce entered the workforce with positions at Dictaphone, Pitney Bowes, and finally a branch manager for the Xerox office machine company in Portland.
-Bruce started his family with first wife Carol, son Barry, daughter Wendy, and son Tom, living in the Cedar Hills area in Portland.

The ice cream parlor/restaurants were just what Southern California residents needed! The restaurant was successful and full of customers. Celebrities were often seen eating a banana split.
-After 4 years of the "ice cream" life, Bruce married his second wife, Carole, and had a son Regan, daughter Melissa, and daughter Jennifer. The family later relocated to Innis Arden area, northwest of Seattle, and all still live in Seattle. Regan and wife Tammy have two sons, Graeme and Garner. Daughter Melissa Garrett has son Ethan and daughter Paige. Daughter Jennifer is pregnant with her first child due January 10.

Some things to remember about Bruce:
