Charles Bradley Campbell

June 19, 1960 — March 11, 2009

On Wednesday morning, March 11th, 2009, Brad moved on into the arms of Jesus where he is being held safely and lovingly.

Brad was born June 19, 1960 to Charles and Dolores Campbell in Phoenix, Arizona. Brad graduated from Camelback High School in Phoenix and went on to receive his Bachelor of Science degree in Administration of Justice from Portland State University in Portland, Oregon. While attending college, Brad met Jennifer Maggs in Portland, and they were married in Lincoln City, Oregon on November 01, 1986.

Upon graduation from Portland State, Brad went on to work as a Special Agent with the U.S. Customs Department, U.S. EPA and finally retiring with the Department of Interior in Vancouver, Washington. He also spent some time as a patrol officer with the City of Glendale Police Department in Glendale, Arizona and with tremendous pride was chosen to give the commencement speech for his graduating class. Brad had a true passion for helping people, especially those who could not help themselves. Working as a police officer, he used to say, "You call, we come."

Brad's other great passion was physical fitness. True to his desire to help people, after retiring from law enforcement with the federal government, Brad went on to study for and receive his ACE certification in personal training and worked at the Las Vegas Athletic Club in Henderson, Nevada where he achieved tremendous personal satisfaction in helping people with their health and fitness. He frequently spoke of the wonderful clients he had and how enthusiastic they were. They brought joy to his life.

Brad is survived by the love of his life, Jennifer Campbell; sisters Christa Daniel and Denise Stark; brothers Daniel Brooks and David DesJardins; and aunts, uncles and cousins that he adored.

Our dearest Brad: You were our protector, defender, brother, lover, friend. While your reunion in heaven was grand, you will be desperately missed down here. Until we meet again…..
