Obituary of Charles William Kuust
Charles William Kuust, 72, passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2012 at his home in Dallas, OR. Charles was born on July 5, 1940 in San Francisco, CA, the oldest of two children of William and Sylvia (Koski) Kuust. Charles graduated from Jefferson High School and received his Bachelors degree in Education from University of Portland. He taught at Skyline, Vestal, and Binnsmead grade schools. Charles retired after 30 years of teaching from Portland Public Schools.
Charles played the violin and was part of the youth symphony in high school. Charles enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating and all sports. He especially enjoyed watching his grandchildren participate in youth sports.
Charles is survived by his wife Diane of 49 years; his son, Jeffrey (Colleen) Kuust of Dallas, OR; his daughter Janna (Brent) Blake of Oregon City, OR; and his four grandchildren Kendra, Kara, Kyle Kuust and Ellie Blake.
Private family burial will be held at Rose City Cemetery and Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to: Dallas Baseball; Oregon City Youth Sports - Softball.
