Constance Lee "Connie" Lechner O'Neill was born August 25, 1939 to Roman and Stella Lechner in Seattle, Washington.
Connie grew up with her sisters Carol and Colleen in the Rose City Park and Alameda Districts of Portland, attending St. Rose Grade School and graduating from Holy Child Academy in 1957.
While attending Seattle University, she met Harvey "Chris" Christopherson. They were married in 1961 and their first daughter, Angie, was born in 1963. Son Dan followed in 1965 and daughter Julie in 1968. Connie and Chris divorced in 1971.
In the early 70’s, she met Lawrence “Larry” O'Neill and they were married in 1974. They eventually made their home in the Garden Park area of Vancouver, Washington. In 1980, their daughter Jennifer was born.
Connie worked for the Evergreen School District as a para-educator for 28 years, retiring in 2006.
She was preceded in death by her father Roman, mother Stella, sisters Carol and Colleen and husband Larry.
She is survived by her children, Angie Christopherson (Scott) Leverenz of Portland, Oregon, Dan (Lisa) Christopherson of Beaverton, Oregon, Julie Christopherson of Redmond, Washington and Jennifer O'Neill (John) Limansky, who reside in Puerto Rico.
