Obituary of Pastor David Sperle
Pastor David Sperle was born December 13, 1916 in Marsh, Montana and passed away January 29, 2015 at his home in Portland with many friends and family by his side.
Funeral Service will be held, Noon, Thursday, February 5, 2015 at Rose City Funeral Home with Military honors to follow at 1:30 at Willamette National Cemetery.
David served in the Army during WWII in Italy from 1944 – 1946; pastored for five years in Newberg, Oregon and thirty five years in St. Johns. He also planted 569 churches In India and spent many years hosting trips to Israel, with side trips to Jordan, Turkey and Egypt. He is loved by many and will be greatly missed.
Survived by his wonderful wife of 44 years, Antoinette Sperle, children: Deanna Witham, Yvonne Dumas, and J. David Sperle, Scott Carlson, 9 Grandchildren, and 13 Great Grandchildren, sister: Elfrieda Brost and a niece and nephew.
