Demetra Toula Roll

Demetra "Toula" Roll passed in peace and dignity at home with her husband, Wayne, at her bedside. She was born in Patras, Greece and immigrated to Portland, Oregon in 1949 with her mother Theoni Kallimanis and her younger siblings Helen and George Kallimanis. They joined her older sister, Sophia Kallimanis Lilles, brother William, and father Stephanos Kallimanis who, along with her mother all preceded her in death. A 1952 Washington High School graduate, Toula was a faithful member of the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral, the Ladies Philoptochos Society, and loved by all. She was co-owner of a furniture business with her husband. Her first child LeAnna was victim of an automobile accident in 1989. Toula is survived by her husband, Wayne; her sons: Father John Roll and Father Jason Roll; Seven Grandchildren and Three Great-grandchildren. The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to the Holy Trinity Camper Scholarship Fund.
