In Memory of a beautiful, unique women who amazed and helped so many.
A memorial service will be held, 1pm, Saturday, February 9th at the Rivergate Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, 9705 N. Taft, Portland. Dorothy passed away on January 31st in Portland, she was 72 years old.
Dorothy Ann was born on January 4, 1941 in Kellogg, Idaho to James Luke and Jessie Florence (Doanne) Byers. Raised in Chehalis, Washington, moved to Portland in 1962. She lived most of her life dedicated to God, her family and friends. Artistic, creative, determined, she enjoyed making people laugh, no matter what was happening with her and her struggles, she wanted other to smile. Life held so many wonders, large and small; she lived her life always classy, always caring. She loved children and to teach about Jehovah God and His wonderful creation. Dolly did many things and all of them well. Aside from her ministry, her greatest pride was in her children and 3 grandchildren. Dolly was and always be the consummate mom and lady.
