Jean, as she was known, was born in Milwaukie, Oregon in 1927 where she lived all her life. She graduated from Milwaukie High School and then studied at Multnomah School of the Bible (now Multnomah University) as part of a lifelong belief in and love of Christianity.
She worked for many years as a house cleaner and for a time at “Loaves and Fishes” in Clackamas, Oregon (now the Clackamas Senior Center) in the 1990’s.
From her home with parents Antonios (Tony) Frangos, and Isabel Frangos (née Mitchell) her priorities were family, friends, and church where she sang in the choir at local Baptist and Evangelical churches in Milwaukie, Oregon. She also greatly loved dogs, so if you’d like to make a donation in her memory, we suggest the Clackamas County Dog Shelter at www.clackamas.us/dogs/wishlist.html
In her life, Jean also enjoyed traveling to the Oregon Coast with her church groups, visiting her Aunt Dorothy Sloane in Pasadena, CA, her Uncle Kenny Mitchell in Kooskia, ID, and she spent a couple of months in Las Vegas.
She is survived by nephew Scott A. Frangos of Vancouver, WA and sister-in-law Mary U. Frangos also of Vancouver.
Jean will be interred at Rose City Cemetery in Portland, Oregon.
