Dorothy Mae Allen

Dorothy Allen was a loving person. To know her was to love her. Her word was truly her bond.
Dorothy was born in Clarendon, Texas to proud parents Joe Washington & Dorothy Cunningham.
Dorothy lived in Vanport as a child, then moved to Portland, Oregon, where she attended Boise Elementary. In her younger days, she worked in Poultry Farms, Floral & as a Nanny. Although she had various jobs with pay, her Joy came in helping others.
Dorothy soon after met & married Erick Allen (Deceased) & Van Harper (also Deceased).
Dorothy Allen was a Strong willed person who always had everyone laughing, and didn't take any mess. She truly was the Olive Branch of the family, who leaves behind her wisdom and courage.
Dot Leaves to mourn: her remaining children: Dorothy Marie Grady, Erick Allen Jr. Sylvia Banks, Nita Ingram, and Ruthy Gambell; sisters Christine McGhee and Dora Campbell. Dorothy was preceded in death by her daughter, Lisa Harper. She also leaves many Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
