Elessie Jackson was born on May 20th 1926 to David and Fannie Jackson in Jackson, Mississippi. She died on January 3, 2009 after living with Alzheimer's disease for several years.
She was blessed with five children from two loving marriages. She loved to dance and fish and was always quick with a smile and a word of encouragement.
Her survivors include her companion of 23 years Cleveland Thomas, children Eddie L. Miller Sr., Thelma Loving, Velma Williams, Henry Brogdon Jr., Harry Brogdon and brother Edison Jackson. Elessie was also blessed with 23 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
The family wishes rememberances to be sent to the Alzeimer's Association.
