She was a graduate of Magnolia High School, New Martinsville, WV class of 1977. She received her Bachelor of Arts from West Liberty State College, Wheeling, WV class of 1982.
Elizabeth (Betsy) worked for Coca Cola in Oregon for 10 years. She presently was a store manager at Albertsons Grocery in Oregon for 10 years.
She enjoyed fishing, camping, and spending her time with her beloved animals. A devoted Dallas Cowboy and West Virginia University football fan. A photographer and a watercolor painter were among many of her talents. She had many friends and family that will miss her dearly.
Surviving are her parents Joseph and Jean Gacek, JR of New Martinsville, WV, two siblings, Melissa (Missi) J. Burkhammer, and Joseph Gacek, III, one nephew, Dylan Burkhammer, and two nieces, Heather and Hannah Gacek. Two dogs, Tristen and Dottie, a niece-dog, Loxley Rae, and a parrot, Willow.
Proceeded in death are her maternal grandparents Fonnie and Bessie DeCoy, and paternal grandparents, Joseph and Anna Gacek, SR, all of Bellaire, Ohio.
