Emmett Cullen Montis

Emmett C. Montis A private graveside gathering will be held at Rose City Cemetery followed by a memorial service 11:30am, Friday, Jan 17th at the Apostolic Worship Center, 18631 NE Glisan St. Emmett passed away January 11th in Gresham, he was 88 years old. Born December 10, 1925 in Chireno, Texas to Robert and Anie Lou (Ybarbo) Montis, he was the fifth of six children. He married Mary B. Stores, she preceded him in death in 1971 at the age of 36. From this marriage they have a daughter. Emmett did many things in life but he was a talented saddle maker and shared his skills for numerous years bringing joy to his customers. Emmett is survived by his daughter; Mary AnnAgee, granddaughter; Pamela Peterson and great grandchildren; Louie and Addy Peterson.
