Obituary of Ernest Kublick
Private burial will be held at Rose City Cemetery for Ernest Kublick. Ernest passed away on March 15, 2013 in Portland, Oregon. He was 99 years of age.
Ernest was born May, 14, 1913 at Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada to August and Matilda Kublick. He was the 7th of 10 children. The family moved to Portland when he was 12 years old and attended Benson Polytechnic where he learned to read blue prints that helped he later in life. During WWII Ernest assisted the Multnomah County Sherriff's Department.
He married Marjorie Ellen Yost in 1940 and they were happily married for 24 years until she passed away in 1964. He later married Annetta, she pre deceased him in 2011. Annetta and Ernest lived at Lincoln City from 1977 until she passed away, then he moved to Portland to be closer to family.
Ernest is survived by his children; John Kublick, Barbara Olson and Rosemay Peters, 7 grandchildren, 4 Great Granddaughters. Predeceased by son Larry in 2001 and sister, Freda Burkhartsmeier March of this year.
