Ethel Ray Kelly

Ethel Ray Kelly was born March 7, 1939 in Shreveport, LA to Emma McHenry and Author Ray. She passed away on October 9, 2010 after a cancer illness. Ethel Graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in 1957 and attended Grambling State University before moving to Portland, Oregon in 1962. She retired in 2002 after a 27 year career with the Multnomah County Health Department as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Ethel is survived by daughters, Briggitte Kelly, Robin (Henry) Kelly-Williams and Crystal Kelly; son, Robbie Kelly; grandchildren, Rashika Kelly, Brion Mitchell, Robbie Kelly, Jr., Terrance Williams, LaShod McIntosh, Marquis Anderson, Terrell Kelly, Jazmine Jackson and Taevhone Kelly; great grandchildren, Raven Kelly, Trevon Kelly and Salayah Kelly; sister, Audry Ray; brother, Oscar (Mary) Frazier; and a host of nieces and nephews including niece, Kirsten Ray.
