Eugene Ramsey, Jr.

Eugene, Jr., an only child to Maudella and Eugene Ramsey, Sr. was born on April 11, 1934 in Newport, Arkansas.
In the 1940a�(TM)s, Eugene "Poppa Stoppa" parents made the decision to move to Portland, Oregon. Eugene attended Boise Grade School and graduated from Jefferson High School.
On March 16, 1963, Eugene married Zel Stephens. From this union were born Sheila, Antone, Chantel, and the twins Martina and Marteo.
For 25 years, Eugene was employed by Multnomah County at Oregon Health Sciences University, Multnomah county Courthouse, and the Justice Center during which time he only missed one day of work. Eugene retired because of medical reasons on July 26, 1990.
We are only sure that Eugene looked forward to seeing in Heaven, his mother, Maudella, who passed in 2002, and his father, Eugene, Sr., who passed in 1966.
Eugene enjoyed working in his yard, fixing things, watching basketball and western movies.
God called Eugene home on June 18, 2007 at the age of 73. He is survived by his wife, Zel Marie Ramsey; his children: Sheila, Antone, Chantel, and the twins Martina and Marteo; 13 grandchildren; as well as numerous relatives residing in Arkansas and Portland, Oregon, and many, many friends.
