Florence June Bain
June 11, 1920 — January 11, 2015
Florence J. Bain was born the second of 8 children to Alvin and Louise Hoops on June 11,
1920 in Ferney, South Dakota. Florence moved to Portland in 1947 where she met Alexander
Bain. They were married on September 28, 1950 and raised 4 children together.
Florence is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Alex, 2 sisters and 2 brothers.
Survivors include; 1 sister, 2 brothers, her children, Paul, Bruce, Tim and Peggy, 17
grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 8705 E. Burnside, Friday
January 16th at 10:30am. Private Entombment to follow at Rose City Cemetery.
