Florence Carlson

Florence was born to Christina and Jacob Burback in Portland, Oregon. She married Joseph Reiter in 1937 and had one son, Dennis. She married Walter Mel Carlson in 1941 and was married until his death in 1980. Florence held many jobs in Portland. Her most recent job was with Broadway Medical Clinic, where she worked for 27 years. She was an active member of the Evangelical Congregational Church, and sang in the choir for over 40 years.
Florence is survived by her son and his wife: Dennis and Melanie Reiter; grandsons: Steven, Gregg, Brian (Wendy), and Josh (Lisa) Reiter; Great-grandchildren: Alexie, Blair, Kennedy, Chloe, Tatum, Mason, and Greta Reiter; Sister Helen Wacker; and brother Edward Burback.
