Forest was born in Houston, Texas on July 21, 1988. He and his Mom moved to Oregon before he was one year old. He had attended the Metzger and Barnes Elementary Schools, Meadow Park Middle School, Sunset High School, and had recently taken some welding classes at Portland Community College. Forest was gifted with a knack for art. His doodles would be considered masterpieces to many, but he could sit down with a sketch pad and draw just about anything that he wanted to. He enjoyed making music sequences with computer programs like "Fruity Loops". Most of these were rap style music that drove his parents and brother and sister crazy, but were musically sound. He liked skateboarding, going to the coast, hanging out with his friends, playing video games, playing on the computer, and rap music. His life was tragically cut short on October 2, 2012 in Aloha, Oregon at the age of 24. He is survived by his parents, Deon and Scott Whitaker; his sister, Brook Whitaker; his brother, Steven Whitaker; his grandparents Larry and Paula Whitaker; Aunts and Uncles: Debbie and Jerry Van Kirk, Lynn and Paul Szasz, Diane Fugere, David Fugere, Dorothy Fugere, Dana Fugere, Doug and Lisa Fugere; and by a host of cousins, other family members, and many, many friends. He will be missed by all who knew him.
