Always a Friend, Never a Stranger
A lifelong resident of Portland's East Side, Jill, will be missed by many, some who never even knew her name but knew her smile. She was the friendly lady that spoke to you in the grocery store, at the bus stop or in the waiting room. A big heart for all, she bridged life's differences with easy charm. Every encounter, even in her work in retail and as a Dental Assistant was an opportunity to make a friend, wish someone well, and make them smile. Besides her many friends she is survived by her husband George Brown, son Gary Bryan, his wife Jackie and their children Carysa, Geordyn and Jasper, son Darin Bryan and his fiancé Libbi Landrock and Darin's children Katie Lyn and Cammie-Jean, siblings: Pam Baines, Rosemary DaCosta, Miriam Woodard and Lewis Starr and their families.
