Georgine Hoffman (Jeanie) of Portland, OR, formerly of Salt Lake City, UT, went to meet her Heavenly Father on January 13, 2018. She was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on September 22, 1939 to George Wallace and Naomi Cutler Pond. She graduated from Olympus High School in 1957. She worked as a model in her younger days and retired as a Credit Union Manager. Jeanie was a beloved wife, mother and adoring grandmother who loved spending time with family and friends. Family, friends, coworkers and neighbors loved her bright smile and warm, giving attitude. She loved music, movies, shopping and sightseeing.
Jeanie is survived by her daughter Sherri Hoffman with grandson Jeremy (Vancouver, WA); her son and daughter-in-law, Chad and Amber Hoffman with granddaughter Ayra (Portland, OR). She is also survived by her siblings Beverly Jo Grider (Richard), Rose Ann Bathemess (Frank), Richard Pond (Irene) and Maurine Felix (Dell). She was preceded in death by her brother Norman Kay Wallace.
In lieu of flowers she requested you make a charitable contribution (of your choice) or just spend time with friends and family enjoying life and remembering her. Internment of ashes will occur at Salt Lake City Cemetery, Salt Lake City, UT on April 2nd, 2018 at 10:00 am
