Geraldine Turner

Geraldine Turner was born on March 29, 1955 in Lacey, Arkansas to Erastus and Pearlie McDowell. In 1967 the family moved to Portland, Oregon, where Geraldine completed her education, graduating from Adams High School. She had worked for the Multnomah County Sheriffs Office in the Personnel Unit since 1999. Prior to that she had worked at Wacker Siltronic for 10 years. Geraldine was a member of the Church Without Walls, and had been a member of Powerhouse C.O.G.I.C. She was preceded in death by her parents, by a a brother, R.B. Washington, and by a grandson Earnest Clay, III. Geraldine passed away on January 7, 2007 at the age of 51. Viewing will be at the Rose City Funeral Home on Monday, January 15, 2007 from 10 - 5, and the funeral will be at Daniels Memorial C.O.G.I.C., 1234 NE Killingsworth Street, Portland, Oregon on Tuesday, January 16, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. The interment will be in the Rose City Cemetery.
