Gitana Chambers Januszewski

Our beloved daughter, sibling and friend Gitana left this earth in much the same way as she lived it-bold and on her own terms. She leaves her parents, Catherine Chambers, Terrence Januszewski and Janet Pevy, her sister Olesia, brother Dmitri and niece Leila. However, she touched many lives, leaving behind friends and lover’s stretching from Bellingham to Portland.

We don’t know what was in her mind as she left this world but while she was here she was creative, an avid reader, loved to sing Karaoke and Janice Joplin, had a unique sense of style, could party with the best of them, was pensive and beautiful.

We will miss her desperately and hope she is now at peace.
