There are about a million things that I could say about my dad, the first of all being that the most important thing to him was family. It didn't matter to him if it a biological family member, child, sibling, sibling's child, or the people that became family that through marriage. There were even a few that were friends of his children that became his children. He had, on more than one occasion, introduce my best friend, Jami, as one of his daughters. He loved us all. Closely following family was his friends. If he was your friend there was nothing in the world that he wouldn't do for you. If you needed help he would give the shirt off of his back and never ask for it back.
Survived by: Jennifer Sullivan and Melissa Hyde, Daughters and Jason Edenburn, Son.
He worked for Boeing for over 40 years. He loved fishing and camping, as long as camping included the motor home and satellite TV.
Over the last few years he has counted the days until the cold winter weather was over so that he could get out and go fishing. When he was younger the weather didn't matter, if there was something biting he was out there to try to catch it. He had an incredible sense of humor and the most wonderful smile, all the way to the end.
He wasn't a very religious man, but had a definite belief that there is a God out there. He also held onto the fact that when he passed he would be with the people that passed before him, especially his late wife, Marilyn.
Survivors: Jennifer Sullivan, Melissa Hyde, Cristin Elliott and Catherine Brown, Daughters; Jason Edenburn and James Long, Sons; Frank Edenburn, Brother; 12 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren, a sister preceded him in death.
