Helen Vivian Mason

Helen Vivian Mason was born Nov. 18, 1912 in Rowley, Alberta, Canada to Lewis and Effie Fales. She passed away May 21, 2009, in Portland, Oregon. Her family moved to Brownsville, OR in 1926 and by 1935 they had moved to Portland. She worked in the shipyards and in 1943 she married Glen Leslie Mason. Helen went back to school and earned her LPN license and practiced as a scrub nurse at Portland Adventist until she retired in 1978 at the age of 65. She volunteered at Portland Adventist Community Services (PACS) for many years after she retired.
Helen is preceded in death by her husband Glen Mason. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
