We are heartbroken at the passing of our beloved Helen. She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend to many people.
She is survived by her husband, James Oury, son Forrest Green, sisters Linda Misfeldt, Janice Edwards, Barbara Jones and Vickie Johnson. Helen's large extended family also includes a great great niece and numerous cousins across the country.
Helen was born in Portland, Oregon on May 5, 1949 to Roy Swede Johnson and Joycelyn Elaine Johnson. Her family moved to Milwaukie, Oregon where she grew up and attended Ardenwald Elementary Grade School, Milwaukie Junior High, and Milwaukie High School. She graduated in 1967, then attended college for a couple of years. With her education, she obtained work as the executive assistant to the president of Zach Miller Architect firm, from which she retired.
Helen met Jim and they married, then moved to Tigard, Oregon. One of Helen's favorite hobbies was going fishing with her husband Jimmy. They had many favorite fishing sponts. She would go pheasant hunting in eastern Oregon with him too. She loved watching sports on TV with him and playing golf.
She has been loved and will be missed by the whole family.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to charity. A private family memorial will be held at a later date. Jim wants to take His Little Bit (Helen) fishing one last time.
