Helen Rollandi
June 11, 1926 — April 22, 2016
Our Loving Mother Helen Manoles Rollandi passed away peacefully April 22, 2016 in her home in Portland, OR at age 89, surrounded by her loving family. Born June 11, 1926 in Salem, Oregon, she was the daughter of Thomas and Velma Manoles and sister to Betty Jean Simmons.
She married Louie James Rollandi, her life partner of 62 years. Family memories of our loving mother were she enjoyed cooking Greek and Italian dishes. She enjoyed the beach, camping at Fort Stevens, gardening, quilting for Hospice with her large group of friends, trips to Reno and our family tradition of going to the Greek Festival.
Helen is survived by her daughters Cynthia D. Rollandi, Susan L. Samel and one son James T. Rollandi. 5 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren and dear friend and brother-in-law Louis Ruseigno.
In lieu of flowers: Our family suggests a donation to Providence Hospice Eastside in Portland.
