She was a school teacher prior to her time she lived in Portland. Helen lived in Portland two seperate times, once in the 30's and second in the 70's. While living in Portland, she worked as a Medical Records Technician for Woodland Park Hospital.
Helen's was a member of the National Society of the American Revalution.
She graduated from Reed College and St. Helen Hall of Portland.
