Howard Ray Willoughby

Howard Ray Willoughby 92 of Portland Oregon, November 20, 1919 January 22, 2012. Howard was born in Jayess Mississippi the fourth of 8 children. During World War II he served honorably with the Army Air Corp in Italy and Africa. In 1945 he married Rosie Loster and moved to Portland where together they ran their own home heating business and raised two sons. He was active in many civic organizations, his church and Little League. He was preceded in death by his wife Rosie in May 2009. He is survived by one sister Alene Lewis of Columbia Mississippi, two sons and daughters-in-law Lindsay ( Deanne), Dean (Gretchen); and granddaughters Rene Kaiel and Cody Baltazar, all of Portland. He will be interred at Willamette National Cemetery with full military honors. Memorial service will be held at Rose City Funeral Home 5625 NE Fremont St Portland OR 97213 (503)281-3821 on Friday January 27, 2012 at 3pm.
