Ilias Sotirios Bakouros

Mr. Ilias Bakouros was born on April 20, 1954 in Filiatra, Greece to Sotirios and Lela Bakouros. He came to theUnited States to Portland on September 25, 1969. Ilias was a graduate of Lincoln High School. He married Kristen Baker on September 18, 1988 in Vancouver, Washington. Ilias was a co-owner of the family restaurant, The Alexis Restaurant. He was a member of the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral. Ilias died on June 12, 2008 at the age of 54 and is survived by his wife, Kristen Bakouros; his children: Sotirios I. Bakouros, Lela E. Bakouros, and Apostolis I. Bakouros; his sister and her husband, Theodora and Gerasimos Tsirimiagos; and by his brother and his wife, Alexis and Voula Bakouros.
