OBITUARY
Jacqueline Marie Brim peacefully passed in her sleep the morning of February 18, 2014. She was 83 years old, vibrant, active, enthusiastic, energetic and independent.
Jacqueline was born in Portland, Oregon on June 20, 1930. She was an amazing woman and she lived an extraordinary life. Space cannot be given in this obituary to chronologize the breadth of her personal achievements. However, the single passion that remained consistent throughout her life was her love for children. She attracted them, she nurtured them and she consistently made herself available to them. She was a mother for many and a friend of many more. Her impact spanned a variety of ages and multiple generations. Jacqueline’s service to children was her calling and her mission will be missed.
Jacqueline was preceded in death by her husband, Henry; her sisters, Bernice, Charlotte and Lucile; and her mother, Lillian. Jacqueline is survived by her sister, Marian; her daughter, Cheryl; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and thirteen nieces and nephews.
Jacqueline will be inurned at Rose City Cemetery and Funeral Home, 5625 NE Fremont Street, in Portland, Oregon. Condolences and personal expressions to the family are welcome on Jacqueline’s webpage which is located in the obituary section of the funeral home website (www.rosecityfuneral home.com).
