James Tepo Sideroff April 27, 1924 - May 19, 2019
James Tepo Sideroff passed away on May 19, 2019. James was born to the late Tepo and Dorothy Sideroff on April 27, 1924 and grew up with his late sister, Lenora. James was raised in Portland, Oregon and went on to serve his country starting his service in 1942. While in the Navy, he left the northwest and traveled the world. James returned to Portland, Oregon where he spent his life working as a boilermaker and manufacturer. Through the years, he served as a member and president for the Podkrepa Bulgarian-Macedonian Association.
James will be remembered by his son, James and daughter-in-law, Rosalie, and Grandchildren Michelle, Barbara, Gene, and Yolanda, and devoted Niece Jean. James is survived by 7 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. James has treasured loved ones Orella, Bonny, Renee, and Celia along with countless other friends and family whom loved and were loved by James.
James loved watching classic movies, laughing, sharing newspapers and coffees with friends, taking pictures, and driving his truck.
James touched the lives of many people with his smile and generosity. He maintained his trademark twinkle in his eyes along with being a gentleman all the way to the end.
Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service on Thursday, May 30th, 2019, at 10 AM at Rose City Cemetery and Funeral Home, 5625 Fremont St. Portland, OR 97202.
