Jeffrey Lloyd Sloan II
Jeffrey L. Sloan II, affectionately known by his family as “lil Jeff”, was born on Friday, May 5th, 1972 in Portland, OR to Marilyn Sloan and the late Jeffrey L. Sloan I, the first of three children.
Lil Jeff’s passions included writing, fishing, and creating singing videos that were hilarious. But the passion he was widely known for was his cooking. His favorite food to cook was BBQ for family and friends. He was a creative genius in blending seasonings and spices to create a BBQ rub. He’d marinate the meat, and once the meat was cooked anyone around was in for a mouthwatering treat.
Lil Jeff enjoyed a special bond with his late grandmother, Vergie Sloan; and with his mother, Marilyn Sloan whom he called everyday until the day before his passing. He deeply cared about his children, family and friends and enjoyed talking with them to discuss and learn about their life experiences. Lil Jeff held various jobs, the most recent was security services.
