Joe Harold Jones

Joe Harold Jones was born May 26th, 1949 in Hiedelberg, Mississippi, Jasper county, to Earl Jones and Laura Brown-Jones. He graduated from George Washington Carver High School in Picayune, Missippi on May 27th, 1968, then served in the U.S. Navy and was honorably discharged in October of 1970. Joe worked as a cook at Oregon Health and Science University until his retirement in 1998.

In 1973, he met Monica Drayer. The two were married on December 13th, 1999. Monica Drayer-Jones preceded him in death.
