John Johnny Williams, Sr.

John Johnny Williams was born May 11, 1951 in Los Angeles, California to Clarence T. and Hattie Bell Williams. John was the 6th child of 13 children. John attended Portland Community College receiving his GED. John was also a member of VOA, where he was very supportive of clients and provided an excellent example for the men in recovery helping them to reach for a higher quality of life. John also received a certificate of achievement for exceptional hard work in academics, April 25, 2008.

John was a member of Morning Star Baptist Church and was baptized on June 25, 2006. He participated in the Mens choir, worked in the kitchen and became the handyman around the church. He was a proud member of Morning Star Baptist Church.

John was quite the fisherman and worked in Alaska as a fisherman for King Crab. He was an excellent landscaper, lover of music and enjoyed dancing. He was quite comical and if you were ever in his presence you were in for a good laugh. John was a member of the Miracles Club and spent time there with many friends. He will surely be missed.

John was proceeded in death by his parents Clarence T. and Hattie Bell Williams; eldest brother Clarence T. Williams Jr.; sisters Valinor Richardson, Lessie Williams and Mary Williams-Brown. Left to cherish John's memory are his sons John Johnny Williams Jr., and Donell A. Williams; brothers, Bernard Williams, Walter A. Williams, Andrew Williams, sisters Mary Ellen Session, Josie B. Beverly, Celestine Williams and Olivia Law, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. He was dearly loved.
