Joseph Carl Vermilya

Joseph Carl Vermilya was born in Portland, Oregon on August 21, 1954 to Carl and Alice Vermilya. He was raised and educated here and was a graduate of Lincoln High School. He married Maureen Mullen in 1993. Joe was an accomplished Portland guitarist and songwriter. He was a receiving clerk for Providence Home Services. Joe passed away on February 28, 2008 in Portland at the age of 53 and is survived by his wife, Maureen; his mother Alice Vermilya; his brothers: Dave Vermilya, Paul Vermilya, Jim Vermilya, Tom Vermilya, and Carl Vermilya; his sisters: Mary Bowman, Jeannie Vermilya, and Judith Vermilya; and a number of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
