A memorial gathering will be held at 1 p.m. February 5, 2009 at Columbia Edgewater Country Club, for Joyce Lucille Kiyokawa who died January 25 at age 59 after a courageous three-year battle with ovarian cancer.
Joyce was born Mar. 29, 1949 to Lester and Lucille Rydman in Portland, OR where she resided until her death.
She graduated from Marshall High in 1967 and attended college at the University of Oregon and Portland State University. She was employed at Blue Cross of Oregon, US Bancorp and, for the past 13 years, with LaNoue Development.
Survivors include her husband Stan, daughter Emily Wheeler, son in-law Matt Baker, brothers Melvin, Donald and Richard Rydman, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Remembrances to the Ovarian Cancer Alliance of Oregon & Southwest Washington.
