Karl F. Wingren died peacefully in his sleep Monday morning, March 22, 2010.
Memorial Services to be held April 3rd, 2010, 3-5pm at the Oswego Heritage Council, 398 10th St., Lake Oswego OR 97034, http://www.oswegoheritage.org
Surviving Karl are his wife of 18 years, Elaine Wingren their children Kentaro, 12 and Emiko, 9, of Eagle Creek Oregon. Also, a sister Bessie Joyce, brother Erik, sister in law Alicia, mother Bonnie Joyce, step father Barry Joyce, and father Jerry Wingren.
Karl and his treasured family had just moved out of the city to their new home in the countryside. Karl was a widely respected firearms instructor. He served in the Oregon Army National Guard. He attended Myrtle Point High School, St. Bede's College in Christchurch New Zealand, the University of Oregon, and a great many shooting schools.
