Karri Frahler passed away early in the morning on May 25, 2016 at the age of 73. Karri was predeceased by her parents Kurt and Marie Neumann. She is survived by her loving husband Fred of 55 years, her sister Ilene Thomas and her children Ken Frahler and Debbie Arizala. Karri also has six grandchildren Austin, Nicholas, Andrew, Natalie, Anika and Alex. Karri lived in Portland her entire life and was a graduate of Washington High School. She worked as head secretary for the Portland Public School District for many years.
Karri loved spending time with her family. Whether that be celebrations for Christmas and birthdays, hanging out with her grandchildren playing board games and cards or camping at the Oregon coast. She just loved spending time with those she loved. Karri also loved the Masonic Order and all of her friends, which were bountiful. She was Past Worthy Grand Matron of Oregon Order of the Eastern Star, Past Worthy High Priestess of White Shrine of Jerusalem, Past Royal Matron of the Amaranth and Past Queen of Nydia Temple Number 4 Daughters of the Nile.
Friends and family are invited to a memorial service and reception following to be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 4, 2016 at the Al Kader Shrine Center, 25100 SW Parkway Ave, Wilsonville, OR 97070. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children - Portland - Transportation Fund at 3101 SW Sam Jackson Park Rd, Portland, Oregon 97239,
