Kathleen Ann Munger

Kathleen Ann Munger, born January 27, 1948 in Portland, OR to William and Rose Christensen, passed away Sunday September 28, 2008. She was the second of five children, the first of four daughters. Raised in Portland, OR, she attended Marycrest High School and Portland State University.
Kathy was a wonderful mother, sister, daughter and friend. She loved to garden, adored her pets, and created a beautiful home both inside and out. She spent her career in the insurance industry as a commercial underwriter in the Portland and Seattle areas. She was a vivacious character – as a friend described her, "salty and sweet".
She is survived by her only daughter Chelsea Munger, her mother Rose, and her siblings, William Christensen, Linda Saltzer, Susan Joy Matheny, and Marcia Kelly. She is also survived by her niece Jessica Matheny, and her nephews Robert Matheny and Jonathan Christensen. Last but certainly not least, she is also survived by her beloved pets Griffin and Sabine.
Friends and family are invited to her home to celebrate her memory on Saturday October 11, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. - 4:30.
