Mr. Kenneth McLean Wallace was born on June 5, 1916 in Hood River, Oregon the son of Vestal Raul Abraham and Anna Maverne (Templeton) Abraham. Mr. Abraham was a graduate of the University of Oregon, both as an undergraduate, and law school. He was a Captain in the U.S. Army during World War II. He married Leah Puppo on July 25, 1942. He had been a trial attorney in private practice for over 40 years, and he was the District Attorney for Hood River County for 10 years. He was a longstanding member of the Riverside Community Church in Hood River, and a member of the First Congregational Church in Portland. Mr. Abraham was a lifelong member of the Multnomah Athletic Club, where he worked out on a daily basis, and had participated in the Over 80 Racquetball Group there as well. He was an avid reader with a special interest in Civil War History. His wife Leah preceded him in death in 2002. He died on June 24, 2008 in Beaverton at the age of 92 and is survived by his three daughters: Janet Abraham, Susan Bell, and Laurie Abraham; and by his four grandchildren: Peter Van Zeipel, Jayson Van Zeipel, Shelby Kenna Bell, and Madeline Rice.
