Kenneth Herman Nelson

Kenneth Herman Nelson was born in Gladstone, Oregon on May 29, 1910 to Herman and Hilda Nelson. He was raised and educted in Gladstone and Portland, and was a graduate of Benson Polytechnic High School. He married Mary Grimpson in 1937. As a young man he worked for his father, and later took over the business as a self employed building contractor. Ken was a longtime member of the Mt. Tabor Presbyterian Church. He passed away on November 26, 2007 in Oregon City at the age of 97 years. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Mary Nelson, and by his son, Larry Nelson.
