Kimberly Niehuser

May 12, 1955 — February 20, 2020

Kimberly Niehuser (Baker) was born in Portland, Oregon to Sonia Crane and Irwin Baker on May 12, 1955. She graduated from Jefferson High School then attended Mt. Hood Community College, studying Early Childhood Education. She married John Niehuser on Feb. 2nd, 1983 in Reno, Nevada. She worked as a long-time customer service representative for United Parcel Service for over 30 years. She also worked for “Portland Meadows” race track. Kimberly embraced Christianity, and was involved with New Hope Church. Kimberly embraced nature and animals, and was a member of the Audubon society. Kimberly loved spending time with her beloved family, she loved being at the beach, and she loved Rhythm and Blues/Motown music and television.

Kimberly Niehuser is preceded in death by her mother, Sonia Ford, her grandmother, Halfrid Crane and her half-sister: Lisa.

She is survived by her children: Stephanie and Sonia; grandchildren: Harper and Atticus; father: Irwin C. Baker; and half-siblings: Sean Baker and Margaret Marigonda.

The family of Kimberly Niehuser wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the Providence Portland Hospital critical care unit and all of its constituents. The nurses and doctors were a wonderful source of support for our family.
