Kostandinos Vasilios Couris

Kostas Couris was born on March 20, 1917 in Kato Loutro, Korinthias, Greece the son of Vasilios and Irini Couris. He was raised and educated in Greece and came to the United States in 1957. He married Anastasia Mehalopoulos on November 6, 1960. He was a self employed building contractor. Kostas was a longtime member of the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral and was with the choir for over 50 years. He passed away on May 6, 2009 at his home at the age of 92 years. He is survived by his wife Anastasia; his daughters Eleni Couris and Viki (Fabrizio) Couris-Feola; his grandson Anastasios Feola; his sister Bessie Carles; his brother Dimitri Couris; his nephew John Tsingos; and by his niece Irene Zogas.
