Kumiko O. Toda passed away peacefully on November 28, 2017 at the age of 83. She is survived by her husband Jess K. Toda and three children, Janice Malos, Rick Toda, Nancy Cox and five grand children. She is also survived by Isamu Ono, her brother and his family who live in Okayama, Japan. Kumi was a born in Portland, Oregon and was sent to the Minidoka camp during World War II. She graduated from Gresham High School in 1952 and married Jess Toda in 1955 and they have been married for 62 years. Kumi was a loving wife and mother to her children and grand children and will be remembered fondly and missed greatly. Kumi worked for Portland General Electric for over 20 years and she enjoyed her work and established many lasting friendships. She was a loving, giving person and touched many people throughout her lifetime and will be missed and remembered fondly. There will be a memorial service on December 20, 2017 at Rose City Cemetery at 11:00am. Her final resting place will be at: The Willamette National Cemetery
